I can honestly say that I was blown away by how professional all the staff were and how everything went perfectly despite our high numbers. ... we wish to thank you for the wonderful wedding reception that you provided for our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding on Saturday. The thoroughness of your planning and your efficient management of the day made it a happy experience for all of us and left us with wonderful memories. Your hotel benefits from a marvellous scenic setting added to which your tasteful restoration of the building and sympathetic addition of the new ballroom has insured that it is a marvellous backdrop for a wedding. However it is your attention to detail, the provision of superb food and excellent service that has combined with the surroundings to make Cornhill House a first class wedding venue. All our guests were highly impressed by the reception, they commented on the house, the landscape, the service and the great food. For some it was their first visit to this area so they left with a great impression of South Lanarkshire and a firm determination to return. Please thank all your staff for their attention, those of us who stayed overnight had a lovely time in the bar, enjoyed the nice bedrooms and great service at breakfast. Once again many thanks for your professionalism and warm encouragement on the day.
