...I would like to thank you personally for your hard work and commitment in ensuring the success of my daughter’s wedding. From the initial meeting to the final arrangements we were made to feel valued customers. We were guided by your expert advice, yet at the same time confident that personal wishes would be considered and included it possible. We were given time and comfortable surroundings to make our choices and change our minds! The day itself went without a hitch ( no noticeable ones anyway). Because we had complete trust in you and your staff K. and I were able to relax and enjoy the day, which is what I had hoped for. I have received so many compliments and thanks for a wonderful day, especially from A’s relatives from Ireland and I would like to pass them on to you and your staff. One male guest commented that it was the “best wedding meal” he had ever had and he’d been to a few! Another said it was the first time he’d seen profiteroles that were larger than his Yorkshire Pudding. Everyone was also raving about the stovies – a great success. Please pass my sincere thanks to Chef and his kitchen staff. The service at the meal was first class. The food was piping hot and the staff were slick and polite. The whole day had a happy and relaxed atmosphere which was rounded off admirably by some wonderful music. To see everyone obviously enjoying themselves was hugely gratifying and was what K. And I had hoped for – a party atmosphere. I would have no hesitation in recommending Cornhill as it has everything you could possibly want from a wedding venue. Thank you.

CELEBRATION DINNER – NOVEMBER 2007
...I am writing on behalf of Carwood WRI to thank you all for making our 80th Birthday Celebration on Monday such a successful and memorable occasion. All the ladies agreed that the setting, the meal and the service were outstanding. Everything was done by the staff to make us comfortable and relaxed in the elegant new ballroom.
