About Us
Cornhill House hotel stands in its own grounds of some ten acres overlooking the upper reaches of the river Clyde close to the historic town of Biggar. An excellent road infrastructure provides easy accessibility to the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. Both Glasgow International and Edinburgh Airport can be reached in just over one hour.
 From its opening in August 1998 the hotel has earned an excellent reputation for its services and facilities which now extend to include the recently completed Ballroom Wing. Restoration of the main house has recreated its original elegance whilst the new Ballroom has been cleverly designed to reflect a similar style and ambiance.
Leading off from the large Reception Hall are the Bistro Restaurant, the Lounge Bar, two small sitting rooms, the main stair and passenger lift to the first floor where all bedrooms are located. In the Georgian wing of the building is situated the smaller Jade Restaurant.
